Rowan House

New residential dwelling
Hingham, Norfolk
This stunning render and stone clad two storey contemporary house was constructed in 2022 on an empty plot in the heart of the market town of Hingham in South Norfolk. The client was very keen to incorporate renewable technologies into the property and hence it includes an air source heat pump, PV solar panels discreetly hidden on the roof and a rainwater harvesting system. The open plan kitchen/dining/family room at the rear enjoys a 10m long south facing sliding door system which opens up onto the rear terrace and garden and creates the perfect indoor/outdoor living space. Measuring just under 2800sqft, a hand crafted ash staircase leads to a galleried landing and the main bedroom features a juliet balcony overlooking the rear garden.
